The South Yorkshire and North East Derbyshire (SYNED) is geographically sub-divided into a number of local groups.

Sheffield has three groups.

All RA members in the area are welcome to join in with the activities of any group.

New members are allocated by post code to their nearest group unless they request otherwise.

Members of the public are also invited to take part as guests in up to three of  our activities before joining the Ramblers.

As well as helping to produce our area programme of guided walks, groups undertake public rights of way surveys, path maintenance parties and other pursuits.
